The Sheikh Al-Zahawi Conference Held In Sulaymaniyah 5 Jumad Al-Awal 1434 Ah

The "Al-Zahawi Center for Intellectual Studies" in the city of Sulaymaniyah (northern Iraq) held a conference on the scholar Sheikh (Amjad Al-Zahawi) for the period from 5-8 Jumada Al-Awal 1434 AH / corresponding to March 17-20 2013 AD. Sheikh Abdul Karim Zaidan was invited to participate in this conference, so he wrote A speech delivered on his behalf by Dr. Mustafa Jaber Al-Alwani, and the following is the text of the speech:

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and may blessings and peace be upon the Master of the Messengers Muhammad and upon his pure family and companions.

Whoever influenced my life and my approach to what I took and left was Sheikh Amjad Al-Zahawi, may Allah have mercy on him. I found in it the characteristics of the people of knowledge published in the books a group in it, may Allah have mercy on him, and I remember among its characteristics that he does good for the sake of Allah Almighty. He does not want praise from people or fame among them to the extent that he forgets the good deed that he didLikewise, I saw one of his piety that he used to extend his hand while he was on the road and bend over to collect the scraps of paper that stick to the edge of the pavement, and when we asked him about that, he said that there are the names of Allah Almighty and it is not permissible for the names of Allah Almighty to be except in a state of sanctification, not to be cast on the sidewalks of the streets And when he arrives at his house, he burns it and bury the ashes, and I also saw in him the wonder ... that he does not like appearances, because he is old enough to say what is the use of talking about Palestine and about Palestine because what benefits Palestine is self-jihad and the money is spent for that, so when the delegation came to Baghdad to collect donations To restore the dome in Palestine, what is this? Work with money that you collect weapons, and he called it in the colloquial language ((Jubbat Khanna)), which includes the meaning of weapons and small laboratories for their work. I also saw something else about it. I accompanied him to the trustee of the Qadri endowment to sign the scholars' telegram to send it to the ruler of Pakistan at the time, asking him to revoke the death sentence issued against Abu Al-A’la Al-Mawdudi, the head of the Islamic Group in Pakistan, Because al-Mawdudi, may God have mercy on him, is the infidelity of the Ahmadiyya community because they do not claim that the prophethood was not sealed by the Prophet Muhammad - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - rather the meaning of the seal of the prophets mentioned in the Noble Qur’an is the seal. It is as if the Prophet Muhammad is like the seal among the prophets, and he is not the last of them, and the witness that Sheikh Al-Zahawi, may Allah have mercy on him, when he sat in the room while I was with him waiting for the one in charge of the endowment. Sheikh Al-Zahawi took the telegram from his robe to sign it. When Al-Mutawali took it to read it, the length of the reading was prolonged. Sheikh Al-Zahawi, may Allah have mercy on him, understood that the delay in reading was reluctant to sign it. I answered him while saying this phrase, so why are we afraid?)) When al-Mutawalli heard this, he signed the telegram and al-Zahawi took it - meaning the telegram - to send it to the governor of Pakistan after the required signatures on the telegram were completed. We pray to Allah Almighty that our Sheikh Al-Zahawi may rest his mercy And to make him an example for scholars to gain people's confidence in them.

And may Allah bless our master Muhammad, his family and all his companions, and praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
